TRANQUILITY GOLD is formulated to maintain and support:

Tranquility Gold is a quickly absorbed liquid supplement containing herbs such as chamomile and valerian to provide support to the anxious or over- excitable dogs.  After initial use, you could go onto its dry equivalent, Tranquility (we do not suggest you give both together).

Tranquility contains Valerian - Valeriana officinalis. Although nowadays some people find the smell of the valerian unpleasant in the 16th Century it was used as a perfume. It was used to perfume wigs and in the wax of church candles. It was grown in Derbyshire in the north of England and the quality was said to be excellent. The smell of Valerianic acid has a strange fascination for cats which seem to find it irresistable, in the old apothecary shops the drawer containing the Valerian would be rubbed to a high shine by the apothecary's cat that would rub up against it.
